Notes

Cairn forming part of a cluster of four cairns. Mound measures 6 metres in diameter, and stands up to 0.8 metres high. Perimeter is defined by a kerb which survives partly as a buried feature. Centre of the cairn has been partially excavated to reveal a stone cist, oriented north-north-east by south-south-west. The interior of this cist measures 1.1 metres long, 0.6 metres wide and 0.3 metres deep. This is one of Butler's group of 4 cairns Sharpitor E.1-4. The NMR entry is duplicated at 964151.
