Notes

Northern cairn of a group of four cairns on Walkhampton Common. Measures 4.5 metres in diameter and stands up to 0.8 metres high. A number of retaining stones are visible around the north eastern perimeter of the mound, indicating the presence of a kerb, which survives largely as a buried feature. This is one of Butler's group of 4 cairns Sharpitor E.1-4. The NMR entry is duplicated at 964151.
